So… it’s October already and the pace of posting here has clearly been slowing over the past couple of weeks. You might be wondering why.
In simple terms, I’m stupidly busy. I can only apologise.
I don’t seem to have the time I would like to spend writing articles for CoolRel… it seems that every spare moment of writing time is currently required for lesson planning, preparing presentations, and generally boning up for my PGCE.
That being said, it’s not all doom and gloom… and so, once again, I ask you to please bear with us.
Forthcoming articles…
What delights await?
Well, FustratedHistorian has promised not only a final part from his trilogy, “On Balance, From The Evidence Presented” but also a proposed article offering his personal perspective on the concept of faith.
I’m doodling away on an Introduction to Judaism and, I’m told, RevDMac is still working on a similiar Introduction to Sikhism. We hope that these two articles will complete the first phase of our “Introductions” section, allowing us to move deeper into exploring the six major religions in future posts.
To further tease you, I’ve been sketching out a theoretical approach to the subject of what constitutes “faith”. My four-part theory seeks to address the over-emphasis towards rationalism in Western talk about religion, and will probably prove contentious to some. I hope that I’ll be able to squeeze the time I need to pull that article together over the next couple of months.
Other than that, I hope that your own journey continues in earnest and that, in some small way, our beaverings on CoolReligion will help you more than they hinder.
May your path be blessed with good things.
